Delicious & Healthy

We all love these products, my favourite being the Brownie Mix and the Wholefood Cookie mix. My grandsons love the pancakes. We always have some handy at home as they are so easy. We are not vegan so we add eggs. Yum

Delicious but not vegan

I found the cookies great, super tasty. I don’t have any food intolerances or allergies but. Unfortunately my husband who has a severe anaphylactic allergy to dairy was allergic to them. They do say may contain milk so I’d say the cocoa or the choc chips contained dairy as there was definitely dairy in them which caused him to react. Even by making the vegan variation they are not truly vegan just as an fyi. We bought them as they say they are a vegan on the front of the box but sadly are not.

We are so sorry you didn't have a great experience with the Double Choc Wholefood Cookie Mix. Our lovely customer service team will reach out to you via email to chat with you more about this.

Perfect with a few changes!

Cookies are delicious with (vegan version) recipe as is, however I like to modify the recipe slightly for a cookie that suits my personal preference better!! I prefer thicker and less oily cookies :)

I add in an extra 1/3 cup of almond flour and reduce the oil by a tiny bit (basically, I almost fill the 1/3 cup but not quite) and I use a Flax seed egg (1 tbps of ground flax seed, 3 tbsp of water) instead of a mashed banana.

I do this by adding the extra almond flour and the tbsp of Flax to the dry mix, I mix that up, then I add the almost 1/3 cup of oil and the 3 tbsp of water, and mix it all together. The batter is drier but it creates a thicker and less oily cookie. Still very moist when cooked at the right time!!

I separate into 8 balls, slightly press them down, and cook for 15 minutes.

This is my favorite box cookies ever :)
