Supercharged Protein Bread

Our team have been working on creating the most deliciously nutritious
Savoury Protein Bread and Banana Protein Bread that's packed with flavour and nutrients.
Along the way we picked up a few tips and tricks that we wanted to share with you. 

Banana Bread

What you will need:
3 eggs
3 tbsp of Apple Cider Vinegar
¼ cup of oil plus extra for cooking
2 ripe bananas (Tip: the browner the better!)
3 tbsp of maple syrup or sweetener of your choice
Optional: 1 cup of fresh fruit, chocolate chips or walnuts for extra deliciousness

Method:
1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius (fan forced)
2. Grease your tin of choice or line with baking paper. We recommend a 1L bread tin (19cm x 11.5cm x 9cm)
3. Mash your banana in a large bowl
4. Whisk together eggs, oil, vinegar, and syrup in a small bowl and add to your mashed banana
Optional Step: Add your favourite fresh fruit, chocolate chips, or walnuts

Add your Banana Protein Bread Mix and whisk thoroughly making sure there are no dry mix clumps
6. Gently transfer batter into your tin.
Tip: to keep your mixture fluffy try not to flatten it.
7. Baked covered with foil for 20 minutes. Then uncover and bake for another 20 minutes or until you can put a skewer or knife in the bread, and it comes out clean.

Savoury Bread

What you will need:
5 eggs
3 tbsp of Apple Cider Vinegar
1/3 cup of oil plus extra for cooking
Optional: 1 cup of grated veggies (we’re loving carrot and zucchini at the moment!), parmesan or nutritional yeast

Method:
1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius (fan forced)
2. Grease your tin of choice or line with baking paper. We recommend a 1L bread tin (19cm x 11.5cm x 9cm)
3. Whisk together eggs, oil, vinegar in a small bowl and add your choice of grated veggies to the bowl
Optional Step: Add some parmesan or nutritional yeast for extra cheesiness
4. Mix thoroughly making sure there are no dry mix clumps
5. Gently transfer into your tin.
