Deliciously Nutritious Pancakes

Our team have been working on creating the perfect pancakes that's equal parts delicious and nutritious for many months now. Along the way we picked up a few tips and tricks that we wanted to share with you. 

What you will need:

1 egg
2/3 cups of milk
2 tsp (10mL) of oil plus extra for cooking

Vegan Option:
Add 1 mashed banana instead of an egg (it also adds more flavour!)

Mix... eggs or mashed banana, oil and milk in a bowl.
Mix in the dry pancake mix. Add more milk if you prefer a thinner pancake.
Heat... a frying pan on high with a little oil or butter.
When hot, drop the heat to medium and add ¼ cup of batter for each pancake.

Optional Step:
Add blueberries or raspberries for deliciously thick pancakes.
Cook... until small bubbles start to form and pop on the surface and then flip.
Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side.

Serve... with your favourite toppings.
