Better For You Caramel Sauce

Elevate your Sticky Date Wholefood Loaf Mix with this deliciously nutritious caramel sauce. Deliciously balanced and sweet in all the right ways.

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp maple syrup or brown rice syrup
  • 200ml coconut cream
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method:

  1. Mix all ingredients into a pot and bring to the boil.
  2. Boil for 1 minute and then reduce to low heat to simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Continue stirring throughout the 10 minutes. 
  4. Pour into a server and enjoy!
